2022 Suzuki S-Presso Special Edition gets new White color option

The Suzuki S-Presso has been doing pretty well in the Philippines. It’s a sensible, affordable option but it also comes looking as barebones as it can be. The S-Presso Special Edition was their answer to add a bit more life and flare to the pint-sized hatchback, and it worked. Just this month, in a minor but very relevant move, Suzuki has also added a new color option to the Special line, and in true S-Presso fashion, it doesn’t come simpler than (Special Edition) White.

What sets the Special Edition apart is the addition of exterior and interior panels and accent pieces. Given the new color option, then these are all carried over as well.

On the outside, the Special Edition gets an upper grill garnish, a lower bumper garnish, and a front skid plate. The rear also gets a garnish and skid plate, plus a rear upper spoiler on top of the tailgate. Rounding up the exterior outside are door claddings, blacked-out wheel/fender flares, side skirts with skid plates, and two-tone alloy wheels.

Inside, you’ll find a welcome addition of a silver center console garnish, a silver AC vent garnish, “Silky Silver” door card ornaments, and stainless steel door sill guards.

Powering the S-Presso Special Edition is the same 1.0-Liter 3-cylinder K10 engine. It makes 67 PS at 5500 rpm and 90 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm. For those looking for a slushbox, the transmission also remains the same: a 5-speed manual driving the S-Presso’s front wheels.

“In true Suzuki fashion, we are committed to delivering only the best quality of vehicles to our loyal patrons. This, without a doubt, is a very striking addition of the popular model, to date,” Norihide Takei, General Manager for Suzuki Automobile

The Suzuki S-Presso Special Edition is priced at PHP 588,000 and is available in all 74 Suzuki dealerships nationwide. The next thing on the list is getting the 3/5 NCAP Safety-rated S-Presso units into the PH, yes?
