Maserati delivered two one-off vehicles to a US-based entrepreneur in the biomedical sector. These cars, representing the pinnacle of Maserati’s custom-built program, are set to become icons of the brand’s history.
The first car, the Quattroporte Grand Finale, is not only the last of the Quattroporte series but also the final model to feature Maserati’s V8 combustion engine. This grand farewell to the V8 era is celebrated with a vehicle that epitomizes luxury and performance. The exterior of the Quattroporte Grand Finale is finished in an elegant Blu Nobile color, complemented by a carbon fiber body kit painted in the same hue. The brake calipers are made of brushed aluminum, adding a touch of sophistication. This final Quattroporte is powered by a robust 572 hp V8 engine, ensuring a memorable driving experience. Unique identifiers, including the car’s identification number 999999 imprinted on the windscreen and inside the driver door, highlight its exclusivity. A custom cover, signed by the Fuoriserie team and engineers who worked on the project, protects the powerful engine.
The interior of the Quattroporte Grand Finale showcases meticulous Italian craftsmanship. High-quality materials and custom features, such as a steering wheel with burl accents, tan door panels, black leather A-pillars, and black-stitched Trident logos on the headrests, enhance the luxurious feel. The leather-lined boot and passenger door handle accents in burl add to the bespoke nature of the car. Special “Grand Finale” badges on the central tunnel and dedicated door sills further distinguish this model as an undisputed icon.
The second car, the MC20 Iris, is equally impressive. This unique model, crafted with the same precision and attention to detail, features a vibrant AI Aqua Rainbow color scheme chosen by the customer. The rainbow theme extends throughout the car, inside and out, reflecting a lively and futuristic aesthetic. The exterior color is echoed on the Trident logo in the center of the hubcaps, emphasizing the car’s strong stylistic personality.
Inside the MC20 Iris, the AI Aqua Rainbow color accents the stitching on the armrest, central tunnel, and steering wheel, all made from prestigious ICE leather. The ‘+’ and ‘-‘ signs on the steering wheel paddles match the rainbow theme, replacing the usual white markings. The door sills are laser-cut with “MC20 Iris” lettering, and the rainbow color returns in the stitching on the engine compartment and boot. This specific and exclusive guise, filled with refined details, makes the MC20 Iris a first of its kind. The car seamlessly combines Maserati’s tradition with elements that represent the brand’s future.
