Ford to reveal all-new Everest on March 1

Last November 2021, Ford unveiled the all-new Ranger, as striking and as world-shattering that news was. On the tip of everyone’s mind was, “What about the Everest?” given that both vehicles are basically the same except in final body form.

Everest fans can now rest easy as the blue oval has just released a short teaser trailer video on the upcoming March 1 launch of the all-new Everest.

The 20-second video features the Everest being driven dynamically through various terrains and settings. While the car wasn’t fully revealed, some tight shots confirm the spyshots that were leaked previously. It’s no surprise that the Everest’s front fascia will be similar to the Ranger, both taking huge design cues from the Maverick pick up from the American market.

With regard to technical specifications, none have been confirmed yet. Although, since historically the Ranger and the Everest share almost every powertrain component, It’s safe to assume the Everest will be available with either the 2.0 Liter EcoBlue Turbo-diesel and the new twin-turbo V6 diesel engine. Transmission options will also likely be shared, these are a six-speed manual, six-speed automatic, or the 10-speed automatic.

The upcoming launch has everyone excited, its worth it to point out that both the Everest and Ranger are very popular models in the Philippines, here’s to hoping Ford brings them in as soon as possible.
