Suzuki Philippines surprised everyone by (quietly) launching an updated version of the Suzuki Swift hatchback.
Its important to point out, that the changes made to the Swift are minimal. For starters, the exterior upgrade is centralized to the front fascia. The new grille now sports a studded net pattern as opposed to the old ones horizontal slats chrome slats.
That’s pretty much it for the aesthetic upgrades, the most notable one is in the interior. The new Swift now has a new 8-inch infotainment screen, that has drum roll please Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Which is a welcome upgrade, considering most consumers regard those as essential features for any new car they’re considering.
Lastly, the powertrain stays the same. Powering the new Swift is the familiar 1.2-liter in-line 4 gasoline engine that produces 82PS and 113Nm of torque. The engine is then paired with a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).
