DOTr opens two new P2P routes for Alabang and Cavite

The Department of Transportation (DOTr), Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), and MetroExpress Connect, Inc. has announced that they have launched two new routes of the Premium Point-to-Point-Bus Service (P2P) connecting Alabang and two cities in Cavite.

The routes are:
1. Starmall Alabang-Vista Mall Daang Hari – Bacoor
2. Starmall Alabang – Dasmariñas

The new P2P routes will operate from 5 AM to 8 PM, with fixed schedule of trips that leaves every 15 minutes during peak hours and 30 minutes during off-peak hours regardless of passenger count.The Alabang-Bacoor route will have an introductory fare of Php50USD 0.85INR 72EUR 0.82CNY 6 (Php40USD 0.68INR 58EUR 0.65CNY 5 for students, senior citizens, and PWDs), while the Alabang-Dasmariñas route is at Php70USD 1INR 101EUR 1CNY 9 (Php56USD 0.95INR 81EUR 0.92CNY 7 for students, senior citizens, and PWDs).

The MetroExpress Connect premium buses also use a cashless system with reloadable Prime Tap cards. These buses are Euro 5 compliant air-conditioned Volvo buses equipped with free WiFi, 4 flat screen TVs, onboard radio, CCTV, and GPS. It also features four reclining seats per row with generous leg room and low floor entry with a retractable wheelchair ramp at the exit for persons with disabilities (PWDs).

  4. Hope DOTr could also consider a new route from Turbina Calamba to Ayala to extend the P2P services to those of us from the further South.
