
Hyundai Motor Company revealed the refreshed IONIQ 6 and the all-new IONIQ 6 N Line at the Seoul Mobility Show 2025, expanding its electrified lineup with updated designs and a focus on streamlined performance.

The updated IONIQ 6 builds on the foundation of the original model launched in 2022, which received global recognition for its aerodynamic styling and EV-focused design. The facelift brings more refined proportions, smoother body lines, and subtle styling changes to improve aesthetics and aerodynamics.

“IONIQ 6 has evolved into a lineup, each model expressing its character while staying true to one refined vision,” said Simon Loasby, Senior Vice President and Head of Hyundai Design Center. “With our updated ‘Pure Flow, Refined’ design concept, we’ve simplified and sharpened the vehicle’s lines and details.”

Design updates include a raised hood, extended overall shape, and a shark-nose front end, contributing to a sleeker profile. The previously prominent rear spoiler has been replaced with a subtler ducktail design, maintaining aerodynamic efficiency while offering a cleaner look. A black lower-body garnish extends across the doors to emphasize the car’s flowing shape.

At the front and rear, Hyundai has introduced slimmer DRLs and reworked lamp clusters for a more modern appearance. Horizontal lines create a wider visual stance, and the rear bumper now features chrome accents that echo the front-end design.

Inside, the IONIQ 6 retains its “Mindful Cocoon” interior concept but with improvements for comfort and usability. Updates include a redesigned steering wheel, upgraded door trims, a larger climate control display, and a reworked center console for better functionality.

Alongside the standard model, Hyundai also debuted the IONIQ 6 N Line, which incorporates design elements from the RN22e concept introduced in 2022. The N Line features sportier bumpers, a single-line side sill for a lower visual stance, and a black-accent rear finish. The two-dimensional Parametric Pixel lighting adds a digital touch to the design.
Hyundai also teased the upcoming high-performance IONIQ 6 N, scheduled for a full reveal in July 2025 at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed. The model promises to bring performance-focused enhancements to the IONIQ 6 platform.
