Dongfeng Motors Philippines has rolled out PROTECH, a new ownership program built around extended maintenance intervals and expanded warranty coverage for its electric vehicle lineup.
The program was formally introduced to members of the Nammi EV Owners Club Philippines on August 21, 2026, giving the growing EV owner community an early look at the updated benefits.
Under PROTECH, existing Dongfeng Nammi and Vigo owners will move to a revised Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) schedule, with servicing now required every 18 months or 15,000 kilometers, whichever comes first, an extension of the previous interval of every 5,000 kilometers or 6 months, whichever comes first.
New Nammi and Vigo buyers will receive the full PROTECH package, which includes the 18-month or 15,000-kilometer PMS interval, a 10-year, unlimited-mileage battery warranty, and a 5-year bumper-to-bumper vehicle warranty.
Dongfeng said the longer maintenance interval is meant to reduce how often owners need to visit the service center and lower ownership costs, without affecting vehicle reliability or performance.

Dongfeng framed the battery warranty as a signal of confidence in its battery’s durability and long-term performance, while the bumper-to-bumper warranty is meant to provide new owners with broader coverage.
