Dongfeng Motors Philippines has officially launched the Dongfeng Vigo EV at the East Wing Atrium of GH Mall, introducing an electric SUV aimed at everyday Filipino drivers.

“The Vigo EV represents our vision of bringing smart, efficient and accessible electric mobility closer to Filipino customers,” said Brennan Lim, Deputy CEO of Dongfeng Motors Philippines. “We are proud to introduce a vehicle that combines innovation, practicality and confidence for everyday driving.”
Priced at PHP 1,458,000, the Vigo EV offers a 471-kilometer driving range on a full charge. It supports fast DC charging via a CCS2 inlet and AC charging through a Type 2 connection.
Using 3C fast-charging technology with a peak output of 154 kW, the vehicle can charge in as little as 18 minutes. A five-minute rapid charge adds up to 114 kilometers of range.
The SUV features a two-section tailgate for easier loading and Zero Pressure Breathable Seats with heating and cooling functions. It also includes Nap and Camp modes, which use the battery to regulate cabin temperature and power onboard electronics while parked.
Safety features include an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), with specific functions varying by market. Additional convenience features include voice recognition control and a Music External Play Mode for outdoor audio use.
