This limited 2024 Chevrolet Camaro Collector’s Edition is the last of its kind

Eight years since its introduction, the impact of the sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro is undeniable. Time waits for no man – or car model – and this line is set to make its exit and with it this limited Collector’s Edition to celebrate the model’s success. This is what Chevrolet hopes will cement the 6th-gen’s place in automobile history. And they’re making it a limited release.

Only 350 units of Camaro Collector’s Edition are to be made

Set for a release in the North American Market, the Camaro Collector’s Edition pays homage to its very first and original code name “Panther”. That comes by way of special colors that only these 350 limited units can have. These two colors are Panther Black Metallic for the SS and Panther Matte Black for the ZL1 variant.

Making these units unique are Satin Black accent stripes, 20-inch Satin Black or optional Polished Forged Wheels, and the front splitter from the 1LE package. The coupes, on the other hand, will get the rear spoiler from the ZL1 package. The purchase of a Camaro Collector’s Edition will also get the new owner a welcome kit that contains two posters commemorating the Camaro generations and the Collector’s Edition.

Something more special for those who opt for the ZL1 is a bespoke Canfield Sport 45mm watch from Shinola commemorating the Collector’s Edition, with an inscribed serial number that matches the number on their vehicle’s steering wheel badge, and in keeping up with the Panther motif comes with an engraved watch band and the Camaro logo housed on the watch face.

Limited to only 350 units, the 650 horsepower LT4-powered ZL1 Collector’s Edition will feature a Panther Black Matte exterior color – the first matte paint offered on Camaro from the factory. It will also feature the front splitter from the ZL1 1LE as well as the rear wing from the ZL1 1LE on coupes. The Black Metallic ZL1 stripe, red brake calipers, and black lug nuts round up the exterior’s looks nicely. Inside, all units of the  Collector’s Edition ZL1 vehicles receive a serialized steering wheel badge representing where that vehicle was built in sequence.

With the Camaro‘s exit, it seems only the Ford Mustang is all that remains of the “modern” muscle cars.

Whether any of these special Collector’s Edition samples will make it to the PH is still uncertain, and there has been no word on even the remote possibility of indent orders. But then again, it does have a following in the country, so if there are enough who express interest, then maybe we might see a few on our roads in the future.

As the photo above says, thanks, Six! We can’t wait for what your legacy has paved for the next generation. But please, just don’t be the new Bumblebee, okay?
