In collaboration with Nissan Motorsports & Customizing (NMC), Nissan is captivating visitors at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2025 with an impressive lineup of vehicles showcasing the brand’s latest advancements in technology and customization. Running from January 10 through 12, the event is a testament to Nissan’s commitment to innovation and craftsmanship, even with the challenges the brand is currently facing.
The Wangan Blue is basically the iconic Bayside Blue according to Nissan.
The Nissan booth is divided into two distinct zones. One section focuses on sports cars that combine cutting-edge technology with racing expertise, while the other highlights custom vehicles, demonstrating Nissan’s unique mastery of vehicle modification.
Drawing significant attention is the 2025 North American specification model of the iconic Fairlady Z. With orders set to open in Japan in November 2024. This model offers dynamic performance and agile handling that responds intuitively to the driver’s inputs. The car’s design pays homage to its heritage while incorporating modern technological advancements. A new body color, Wangan Blue (Bayside Blue)—named after Tokyo’s famous Bayside route—makes its debut, further enhancing the car’s striking presence.
While rumors have been circulating that Wangan Blue might be a Japan-only exclusive, this North American spec model might give us hope that the Wangan Blue paint job for the Nissan Z could be sold worldwide.
