Bentley PH launches Flying Spur Hybrid with a combined range of 700 KM

Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid
The Philippines is receiving its first Bentley Hybrid in the form of the Flying Spur. With this new car, the brand is on track to hit reach its goal of having a hybrid option across the whole model lineup by 2024.

Propelling the new Flying Spur Hybrid is a power train combining a 2.9-Iicer V6 gasoline engine with Bentley’s advanced E-motor, which delivers a total of 544 hp and 750 Nm of torque. The E-motor is powered by an 18 kWh lithium-ion battery. The energy stored in the battery can also supplement the existing I2- volt electrical infrastructure of the vehicle.
With high power reserves, superior torque, and quick throttle response, the new Flying Spur Hybrid gives little away to the Flying Spur V8 in terms of acceleration as it is able to reach IOO km/h from a standstill in 4.3 seconds. The new powertrain achieves a significant reduction in fuel consumption while still providing the authentic Bentley character of effortless performance.
The interior of the Flying Spur showcases Bentley’s expertise in creating a modern cabin of unrivaled luxury and innovation. Available with extensive specification options, customers can choose their preferred leather colors and veneers. Stitching and emblems can also be specified, including contrast piping for the seat covers — just as the original Flying Spur from the 1950s came with.
Building on the company’s heritage, Bentley’s craftsmanship also continues to evolve, delivering contemporary features such as 3D leather door panels and lofted diamond quilting to the seats. Customers can also specify their vehicle from the additional extended paint range of over 60 exterior colors, including Mulliner and personal commission. The Blackline specification others a contemporary alternative to exterior bright-ware, including a dark version of the optional illuminated electric Flying B.
Complementing these are advanced features, such as a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10-speaker audio system. The car is also fitted with a range of safety equipment, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking.
In terms of exterior design, the new Flying Spur Hybrid is defined by sophisticated lines and contours, and a dynamic silhouette and stance. Highlighting these are Bentley’s signature matrix grille, distinctive LED headlamps, and 2 I -inch alloy wheels, among other exquisite details.
