Steady progress is being seen for the CAVITEX C5 Link, and that’s a good thing. Another milestone in its construction has been made following the successful installation of the girder near the Paranaque Toll Plaza. A milestone, as this has been completed well ahead of schedule.
CAVITEX C5 Link seen to “enhance regional mobility”
With the completion of the girder installation in the area of the Paranaque Toll Plaza, a direct line between CAVITEX R-1 (Coastal Road) to Sucat Road (also in Paranaque) has been established. The travel time between both roads will be reduced by 10 minutes once the project has been completed.
The target opening is sometime in the first quarter of 2024.
A vital segment in the CAVITEX C5 Link project, the R-1 Interchange (Segment 2) spans a distance of 1.9 kilometers. The entire expressway has a total length of 7.7 kilometers and will run in two directions having three lanes on each side. Once the entire project is complete, an estimated 50,000 motorists can enjoy a seamless connection from CAVITEX R-1 to C5 Road in Taguig.
Thank you, Metro Pacific Tollways!
