To complete the brand line-up for 2023, Changan Auto is proud to launch its newest product, the CHANGAN X7 PLUS. This 7-seater SUV is the brand’s entry into the large SUV category, offering a striking, modern design and incredible functionality that makes it perfect for any journey. Built with a Bluecore 1.5L turbocharged engine, it runs on a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission with Triptonic. It allows for an output of 185 horsepower and 300Nm of torque at its maximum best.
Upfront, it features a dynamic, jewel-like grille pattern that represents movement and symphony, combining elegance with confident imaging. This is proportionate to the narrow multi-tier LED headlamp set-up that is a signature of Changan, supported by the matrix LED daytime running lights. Its structured frame is softened by graceful curves that form a stylish silhouette from front to rear, ending at a continuous strip with infinity LED tail lamps. Sporty details include red accents to break the single-tone colorway, a shark fin antenna, a chrome-plated ornamental exhaust tip, and 19-inch air turbine alloy wheels.
The Changan X7 Plus is designed to be as luxurious as it is functional. The spacious interior cabin is finished in a premium ebony black, depicting upscale minimalism, with a multi-tier dashboard that features impressions of piano black, brushed metal, and plush padding. For comfort, the driver and passenger seats have power electric adjustors (6-way for the driver and 4-way for the passenger), with a built-in manual heating and cooling system. Second and third-row seats offer generous legroom and flat flooring, while the cargo hold boasts exceptional space, especially when both rows are folded down flat.
What sets Changan apart is its eye for technology and the Changan X7 Plus is equipped with all the bells and whistles. Everything is digital with the X7, with most of the car settings integrated into the 12.3-inch high-definition Human Machine Interface (HMI) touchscreen monitor. The system is powered by CarAuto and features hands-free calling, phone mirroring for both Apple iOS and Android devices, navigation, and more.
Select system controls can also be manipulated, such as Custom Car Mode Selection, Car Lights Configuration, Car Alerts, Air-Conditioning, Driver Support, and Vehicle Diagnostics.
Safety is a premium and the best features are integrated into the Changan X7 Plus. Apart from the basics, like a built-in digital video recorder, reverse camera, and parking sensors, it also has a 360 Panocam with 4 wide-angle cameras for a 360-degree view of the vehicle in real-time, along with advanced TPMS and parking sensors, and vehicle stability controls.
The Advanced Driver Assist System includes on-road support, like Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution.
The Changan X7 Plus is now available and currently priced at P1,580,000.
