Fuel Price increase, July 2, 2024 – Gas and diesel go up, PHP 0.95 and PHP 0.65, respectively

We have a streak, and it’s not of the nice kind. Fuel prices for both gasoline and diesel products will go up again this week, and this will see the 3rd consecutive week of price hikes. If there’s any good news, it won’t be as sizeable as last week, so we could take this as a win. Come tomorrow, July 2, 2024, gas will go up by PHP 0.95 per liter and diesel by PHP 0.65.

3 weeks of consecutive week of fuel price hikes

As we’ll have it, tomorrow marks week number 3 of continuous fuel price increases. No reprieve for either gas or diesel users is in sight as both fuel products will be more expensive at the pumps by tomorrow, July 2. As we mentioned earlier, this week’s hike is not as bad as last week’s; the hike on gas will be PHP 0.95 and PHP 0.65 on diesel.

Those who use Cleanfuel will have a little bit more time to gas up at last week’s prices as it will update its pumps at 4:01 PM, much later than the majority of players. That said, Caltex, Petron, Shell, Seaoil, and Unioil (among many others) will apply the week’s higher prices much earlier at 6:00 AM.

At this point, saving fuel should be an utmost priority. We’ve come up with a pretty ingenious list of how to do that, and you can click this link to read it. We don’t know what fuel prices will come at us next week, so being as frugal and sensible as we can be when it comes to using and conserving fuel just makes sense.
