Here we go, everyone! Fuel prices will go up again tomorrow, June 25, 2024. After last week’s price hike, both gasoline and diesel will become more expensive per liter this week, with the former going up by PHP 1.40, and the latter by PHP 1.75. The news we’ve been dreading is here, and sadly, there’s no stopping the 2nd consecutive week of price hikes for petroleum products.
Fuel prices for both gas and diesel set for another hike tomorrow
Tomorrow will see a 2-week streak for fuel price hikes countrywide. Many had hoped that the rollbacks of a few weeks past would start a continued decrease in prices but that wasn’t meant to be. Tomorrow’s price adjustments will also be rather substantial, with gas becoming more expensive by PHP 1.40 per liter, and diesel by a heftier PHP 1.75.
6:00 AM will see many players update their pumps’ prices, including the likes of Petron, Shell, Caltex, Unioil, and Seaoil, among others. Cleanfuel will, as always, give a little bit more time for its brand’s faithful to get their gas and diesel at last week’s prices; it will adjust pricing later in the day at 4:01 PM.
In case you’re wondering if there are some ways that you can conserve gas and diesel and improve your fuel consumption, yes, there are, and we’ve compiled a couple of ways that can help you do just that in this handy-dandy guide. We’re all about helping each other out after all, yes?
As always, next week’s fuel price adjustment is something no one can predict, so until then, we should try to be as frugal and practical as we can. Happy driving, folks!
