The past few weeks saw a split in hikes and rollbacks for fuel prices. Today, though, both gas and diesel will get reductions per liter. The former is set to go lower by PHP 0.40 and diesel by a more significant PHP 2.15. Gasoline vehicle owners are sure to welcome this week’s prices given how they’ve begun what seemed to be a continuous rise, until today.
Fuel prices of gasoline and diesel go down this week
In a most welcome development, the decrease in prices of gas and diesel have both gone down this week. The steady increase in gasoline fuel prices became rather concerning, while the rollbacks of diesel inevitably were more of a big help for PUV owners and drivers. Today, gas goes down by PHP 0.40 per liter and diesel by PHP 2.15. Even kerosene was given a rollback by PHP 2.10.
Pump prices of Petro Gazz and Seaoil have been updated as of 6:00 AM today.
Caltex and Cleanfuel, on the other hand, applied their pump price adjustments earlier at 12:01 AM today.
Let’s hope that the downtrend of both fuel prices continues in the weeks to come. We would advise you to travel wisely, but for most who cannot simply do so, this small but no less important price reduction can give everyone a bit of a reprieve. As always, here are some fuel-saving tips that we have compiled to make the most out of your top-up.
Let’s make the most out of this week’s rollbacks, everyone. Keep a light foot on the gas, your eyes on the road, and your mind on your and everyone else’s safety. Cheers to some good news to start the week!
