The fuel price adjustments for tomorrow will either be good or bad, depending on what type of fuel your vehicle uses. The past months have seen a string of increases, with a very minimal rollback last week breaking the streak. Tomorrow, though, as gas goes down by PHP 2.00 per liter, diesel again goes up, albeit by a minimal PHP 0.40.
Split adjustment for fuel prices tomorrow, October 3, 2023
The minimal fuel price adjustment for gas this week is far bigger and better than last week. By the time pump prices are updated, gasoline will have gone down by PHP 2.00 per liter, which is good news. It won’t be so for diesel, though, because it will cost a little bit more by tomorrow after a PHP 0.40 hike is implemented.
Brands such as Seaoil, Jetti, Flying V, Petron, and Shell will implement the adjustments to their prices at 6:00 AM. Cleanfuel and Caltex will do so at 12:01 AM.
At this point, we’ll gladly take fuel price rollbacks no matter how minimal they might be. Because there’s not much we can do about fuel price increases, the silver lining is that this week only brings in a few centavos added to the cost per liter. That said, it’s still imperative that we try to make the most out of our fuel top-ups, and these tips might help everyone do just that.
Enjoy the week ahead, everyone! For our fellow diesel vehicle owners, we’re hoping that next week brings better news.
