Hyundai aims to elevate the high-performance electric vehicle (EV) ownership experience by extending its N Performance Parts line, initiated in 2019, to include tuning components for all-electric N models like the IONIQ 5 N.
The ‘NPX1’ concept showcases various N-specific upgrades, including a carbon front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, rear wing spoiler, lightweight hybrid carbon wheels, high-performance brake pads, and lowering springs. The interior is enhanced with Alcantara material and racing bucket seats.
These prototype parts will be refined for production and available for purchase in 2024, starting with the IONIQ 5 N, as Hyundai N aims to expand the N Performance Parts lineup for all N models.
Joon Park, Vice President of N Brand Management Group, envisions Hyundai as a leader in new tuning parts for high-performance EVs in 2024, offering not only hardware but also software customization through OTA updates for an exciting future in the EV tuning community.
