Jetour GAIA, the premium off-road sub-brand of Chinese automaker Jetour, has officially launched in the Philippines with the introduction of its flagship SUV, the G700 — a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle that combines luxury cabin features with serious off-road hardware.

The G700 runs on a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a front-mounted 2.0T turbocharged petrol engine paired with two permanent-magnet synchronous electric motors — one delivering 210 kW to the front axle and another pushing 300 kW to the rear. Combined output stands at 904 PS and 1,135 Nm of torque, with a claimed 0–100 km/h time of 4.6 seconds.

A 34.13 kWh battery and a 100-liter fuel tank give the G700 a combined range of up to 1,000 kilometers.

The G700 is built on a real-time electric 4WD system with standard front and rear locking differentials, creep mode, tank turn capability, and a transparent chassis view. Ground clearance reaches up to 300 mm, and the vehicle can wade through water up to 900 mm deep. An adaptive air suspension system adjusts ride height and damping depending on the terrain.

The SUV measures 5,198 mm long, 2,050 mm wide, and 1,956 mm tall, with a 2,870 mm wheelbase.

Inside, the G700 seats passengers across three rows with electrically adjustable, ventilated front seats with massage and memory functions, and electrically adjustable rear seats with leg rests and massage capability. The third row folds electrically.

The cabin runs climate control with independent rear A/C, a CN95 PM2.5 air filtration system, and an 18-speaker Lexicon by Harman audio setup.

The display setup includes a 35.4-inch instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, and a 17.3-inch rear entertainment screen. The infotainment system is powered by a Snapdragon 8255 chip and supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and voice commands. Safety features include a 23-point ADAS suite, front, side, and curtain airbags, and a 360-degree surround-view camera.

Jetour GAIA backs the G700 with a 6-year/250,000 km general warranty, an 8-year/160,000 km high-voltage battery warranty, and a 10-year/1,000,000 km engine warranty — whichever limits come first. Local operations fall under the UAAGI Auto Group.
