Megaworld gives Uptown mall its own EV charging station; other Megaworld malls to follow
Another boost has been given to the growing interest in Electric Vehicles. Last week, Megaworld unveiled its own set of chargers located at the Uptown mall in Bonifacio Global City.

Uptown Mall EV charger details
The Pulsar Plus 22 kW charging stations are located in the basement 2 section of the mall. The charging station is compatible with most (4-wheeled) Electric Vehicles, however, they said that they will be deploying chargers for e-bikes and scooters as well. The target date for those chargers is sometime in August.

Also, the most exciting part about the charging stations is that its free of charge for everyone. Although it must be said that it’s a first come first serve basis as well.
Apart from Uptown, Megaworld will be launching succeeding charging stations in Eastwood, Mckinley Hill, Forbes Town, and Arcovia city.
We do sincerely hope that this trend catches on, as the biggest obstacle in the way of EV acceptance has been the lack of charging stations.
