Mercedes-Benz launches EQE SUV in the Philippines–Priced at P7,190,000
Inchscape Philippines, the official distributor Mercedes-Benz in the Philippines has introduced the EQE SUV to the Philippine market, a versatile variant of the EQE executive sedan. This new model combines the latest innovations found in the EQS, offering a more dynamic driving experience than the EQS SUV. The EQE SUV is notably spacious yet compact, featuring a wheelbase of 3030mm, which is shorter than the EQE sedan. The vehicle’s dimensions are 4863mm in length, 1940mm in width, and 1685mm in height. This is all complemented with 21-inch AMG Multi-Spoke alloy wheels, adding to its road presence.
Equipped with a 90.6 kWh battery, the EQE 350+ SUV (the sole variant available) boasts a range of 536 to 628 kilometers. The modular drive concept offers an output of 288 hp and 565 Nm of torque. The EQE SUV’s lithium-ion battery, consisting of ten modules, benefits from advanced battery management software that supports over-the-air (OTA) updates.
The EQE SUV includes an extensive array of driving assistance systems such as Active Brake Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, and a Parking Package with a Surround View System. Additionally, the chassis features a four-link suspension at the front and a multi-link suspension at the rear, contributing to its agility and maneuverability. An optional AIRMATIC air suspension with ADS+ allows for adjustable damping and increased ground clearance.
Mercedes-Benz has also integrated OTA technology for activating additional vehicle functions post-purchase, allowing for personalized upgrades via the Mercedes me Store. Navigation with Electric Intelligence optimizes route planning, incorporating charging stops and calculating costs dynamically.
The EQE SUV’s LEA (Learning Algorithm) enhances convenience by predicting departure times for pre-entry climate control and efficient battery charging. Standard thermal architecture, including a heat pump, utilizes waste heat from the electric drive and battery to heat the interior, improving energy efficiency and range.
The EQE SUV debuts the “Serene Breeze” soundscape, adding to its holistic sound staging. The optional DIGITAL LIGHT system offers customizable animations, enhancing the visual experience. High-tech features like ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL Plus and Dolby Atmos® from the standard Burmester® 3D Sound System elevate comfort and audio quality.
Designed with aerodynamic efficiency in mind, the EQE SUV features compact overhangs, flush wheels, and a streamlined silhouette, achieving a commendable Cd value. Safety remains a priority with a rigid passenger cell, deformation zones, and modern restraint systems.
