GAC Motor Philippines, under Astara Philippines, opened its booth at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) with the public debut of its flagship plug-in hybrid MPV, the M8 PHEV.
With the theme “Innovate the Drive – GAC’s Road to Electrification,” the company highlighted its direction toward smarter and more sustainable mobility for the Philippine market.
The M8 PHEV drew attention with its bold design, spacious cabin, and plug-in hybrid powertrain. Positioned for families and professionals seeking a balance of luxury and efficiency, the model is expected to launch in the Philippines by the third quarter of 2025 with an estimated price under P4.3 million mark.
“Introducing the M8 PHEV at MIAS marks an important step in our journey to bring more intelligent and sustainable mobility solutions to the Philippines,” said Luis Torres, Country Manager of Astara Philippines. “This model represents the kind of innovation GAC is now known for—smart, refined, and aligned with the needs of today’s Filipino drivers.”
The GAC booth also features the GS3 Emzoom, Emkoo Hybrid, M6 Pro, GS8, and the new M8 PHEV. Throughout the event, test drives are available for the GS3 Emzoom, Emkoo Hybrid, and M6 Pro.
GAC Motor is offering exclusive “MIAS MAX” deals from April 10 to 13 across its nationwide dealerships. Highlights include up to P172,900 off the GS3 Emzoom with a free 10,000 km PMS package, P435,000 off the Empow, P250,000 in savings on the GS8, P100,000 off the Emkoo Hybrid, P160,000 off the M8, and P165,000 off the M6 Pro GS variant.
