GWM Philippines has officially previewed the all-new Haval H9, a 7-seater SUV built for off-road adventures and everyday urban driving. The vehicle debuted at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), showcasing the brand’s latest SUV design and technology advancements.
Built on the sixth generation of GWM’s off-road platform, the Haval H9 is powered by a 2.4-liter turbocharged diesel engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. This combination aims to provide strong performance and smooth handling across various road conditions.
The SUV has an Intelligent Torque-On-Demand 4WD system and mechanical locking differentials, improving traction and control on difficult terrain. Its body uses 99% high-strength steel, enhancing durability and structural integrity without compromising comfort and safety.
Inside, the Haval H9 offers a spacious cabin with premium materials and seating for seven passengers. Designed to deliver functionality and refinement, the interior includes several features to improve the overall driving experience.
Dax Avenido, Brand Head and Marketing Director of GWM Philippines, described the Haval H9 as a key milestone for the brand. “This SUV brings together intelligent technology, off-road heritage, and refined comfort—making it the perfect companion for both adventure-seekers and modern families,” he said.
The Haval H9 is expected to launch in the Philippines later this year, and pricing will be announced later.
Visitors to MIAS can view the Haval H9 at the GWM booth, where it is displayed alongside other models such as the facelifted GWM Cannon, the electric GWM Ora, and the off-road-focused Tank 300. Limited test drives and MIAS-exclusive offers are also available during the event.
