Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) officially introduced the 2025 Isuzu mu-X to the public at the opening of the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

The company’s display at this year’s event highlighted its efforts to modernize its image and strengthen its connection with the Filipino market. Featuring updated branding and a more dynamic presentation, IPC emphasized innovation, technology, and the proven strength of its commercial vehicle lineup.
The Isuzu D-MAX led the showcase, which recently received recognition at the 2024-2025 Auto Focus Media’s Choice Awards for Best Engine Performance and Best Value for Money. Known for its durability, fuel efficiency, and practicality, the D-MAX remains a top choice in the pickup segment.
However, the main attraction was the 2025 Isuzu mu-X, which made its first public appearance after a media preview the week before. The SUV drew strong interest from families and car enthusiasts and became one of the highlights of the auto show.
“We are very happy to introduce the new 2025 Isuzu mu-X to the public through this year’s MIAS. We really want a big audience to view this unit and test drive it so that our customers will get a first-hand experience in its improved driving performance,” said IPC President Mikio Tsukui.
The 2025 mu-X features a redesigned exterior, including a new front grille and aerodynamic bumper equipped with an “Air Curtain” system that reduces drag and noise. The SUV also sports new rear combination lamps and 20-inch Dynamic Turbine Design Alloy Wheels, contributing to a more premium look.
Inside, the mu-X has an all-black leather interior with piano black accents and blue ambient lighting. It is available in two engine variants, the efficient RZ4E and the more powerful 3.0L Blue Power engine, catering to city drivers and off-road users.
A major update is improved safety, with the latest generation of Isuzu’s Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS). The new system includes a Gen4 SMART Duo Camera with a 120-degree field of view and a detection range of up to 120 meters, enhancing driver awareness and safety.
