In 1974, the Type 930 Porsche 911 Turbo set new standards, bringing racing technology from the 917/10 and 917/30 cars into a production sports car. The 911 Turbo 50 Years, based on the 2019 911 Turbo S, honors this legacy with modern enhancements. The model features side vinyl graphics inspired by the 1973 Porsche 911 RSR Turbo livery and debuts the exclusive color Turbonite, used on various car parts and as a contrast in the Turbo 50 model logo.

The use of Anthracite Grey on various exterior elements and a badge on the rear engine cover grille with a turbocharger icon and the years 1974–2024 add historical references. The car comes with 911 Turbo S Exclusive Design wheels in Turbonite.

Inside, the 911 Turbo 50 Years pays tribute to early Porsche 911 Turbo models with McKenzie tartan on seat covers and door panels. Turbonite accents differentiate it from the standard 911 Turbo S, including seat belts, controls, decorative stitching, and trim strips. An illuminated Turbo 50 logo appears on the door kick plates and headrests. The left rear seat has a Turbo 50 logo, and an anniversary plaque above the glove compartment features the Turbo 50 logo and the car’s limited-edition number. The interior includes perforated Race-Tex upholstery and a Porsche Design Subsecond clock with a special Turbo 50 design.
