To all commuters planning to use the MRT-3 to roam the metro this Holy Week, better think of an alternative. According to a post on the DOTr MRT-3 Facebook page, the train line will be temporarily shut down for its annual Holy Week preventive maintenance schedule.
The train will resume operations on April 18 (Monday). This makes sense, given that during the Holy Week break the volume of commuters is lower than usual.
