Nissan has introduced the all-new seventh-generation Nissan Patrol at an exclusive event in Abu Dhabi, marking a significant milestone for the iconic SUV. The unveiling, led by Nissan Motor Co. President and CEO Makoto Uchida, brought together royals, VIPs, global Nissan executives, dealers, partners, media, customers, and employees.
Behold, the all-new seventh-generation Nissan Patrol
The latest Patrol model features two engine options: a new 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo engine making 425 hp and 700 Nm of torque and a naturally-aspirated 3.8-liter V6 making 316 hp and 386 Nm of torque. It also has a 9-speed automatic transmission and customizable adaptive air suspension, enhancing its all-terrain capability. The vehicle also incorporates advanced technologies like NissanConnect 2.0 with Google built-in, ProPILOT, and a Klipsch Premium Audio System.
“The all-new Patrol is a bold leap forward, blending unparalleled performance, cutting-edge technology, and a commanding presence to redefine what an SUV can be,” said Uchida. Thierry Sabbagh, Divisional Vice President for Nissan in the Middle East, highlighted the Patrol’s enduring legacy in the region, calling it a symbol of adventure, pride, and resilience.
Design-wise, the Patrol emphasizes strength and durability. It features a broader V-motion grille, Adaptive Driving Beam headlights, and a full-width rear light bar. The vehicle offers up to seven exterior colors, including four two-tone options, allowing for increased personalization.
The interior of the Patrol has been upgraded with quilted leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a 28.6-inch Monolith display. Rear passengers benefit from dual 12.8-inch screens, and a Klipsch Premium Audio system ensures an immersive sound experience. The Patrol also introduces Biometric Cooling technology, which adjusts air flow based on passenger body temperature.
Safety and connectivity have been significantly enhanced in the new Patrol. It features ProPILOT technology for adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assistance, as well as a 3D Around View Monitor and Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection. The vehicle’s new body structure includes high-strength steel for improved crash protection.
Nissan’s Chief Planning Officer Ivan Espinosa described the new Patrol as a “technical tour de force,” combining performance, fuel efficiency, and advanced technology to provide a refined driving experience across diverse terrains.
Fingers crossed that the all-new seventh-generation Nissan Patrol will make its way here in the Philippines sooner rather than later.
