As part of the progress of the Skyway Stage 3 Project, the concrete pouring of coping beams has been scheduled for later this week. On October 21 at 10:00 PM, a temporary and full road closure of the following arteries will be implemented, and they will be closed to traffic until October 22, 7:00 PM. Consider this your proper heads up, ladies and gentlemen.
Construction of Skyway Stage 3 coping beams will close the following roads
The involved roads in the temporary, full closures are pretty high-volume, so it’s best to look at alternate routes as early as now. There will be 4 main areas that will be affected by the concrete pouring for the Skyway Stage 3 coping beans, and they are listed below.
- Valenzuela St. corner Tomas Claudio St. facing Westbound motorists (Valenzuela St. to Beata St. bound)
- Beata St. Corner Tomas Claudio St. facing Eastbound motorists (Beata St. to Valenzuela St. bound)
- Quirino Ave. corner Tomas Claudio St. facing Eastbound motorists (Quirino Ave. to Beata and Valenzuela St. bound
- Quirino Ave. corner Jesus St. facing Eastbound motorists (Quirino Ave. to Beata and Valenzuela St. bound)
Traffic will inevitably be bad once the road closures start, and despite it being done at night until the early hours of the morning, those on their way home may still find themselves caught in traffic so again, please do plan your routes on these dates and times accordingly.
Once all the work for Skyway Stage 3 is done, we’re pretty sure all the inconveniences will have been worth it.
