The Subaru BRZ in its original form is already quite the performer and sports car. Despite this, the brand feels the car still has more to give so it has been given the once over by the legendary STI team. Say hello to the Subaru BRZ tS.
2024 Subaru BRZ tS
The BRZ has been given more upgrades with the purpose of further improving the handling of the vehicle. First off it has Hitachi dampers that are supposed to maximize its lightweight, ultra-low center of gravity, and precision handling. It also adds a 4-piston gold front and 2-piston rear gold-painted Brembos brake package to strengthen stopping power.
On the outside, the BRZ is set apart with the tS badging that can be found on the front grille and rear trunk lid, while the antenna and side mirrors are painted black. While on the inside there is contrasting blue stitching throughout the various interior panels, the STI logo also makes an appearance on the starter button and instrument cluster, the cluster itself is accented with red.
Power figures remain the same at 228 hp (U.S Spec) and 250 Nm of torque while the only transmission option is a 6-speed manual with the aid of a Torsen limited-slip differential.
With the BRZ tS no longer being a Japan exclusive vehicle could we see Subaru PH bring it in eventually? we sure hope they do.
