New Suzuki Jimny 3-Door Rhino is officially available in PH, priced at PHP 1.331M
After being previewed at this year’s PIMS, the Suzuki Jimny 3-Door Rhino Edition is now officially being offered in the PH. Albeit not a totally new model, it’s a new variant of the revered small SUV of Suzuki that comes with a lot of cosmetic updates that simply say that it’s not your run-of-the-mill mini-offroader. So what does it have, exactly? Let’s have a look-see.

The Suzuki Jimny itself needs no long introduction. Its fanbase has continued growing throughout all of its generations, iterations, and variants, and this newest one is bound to gain more of the faithful into the fold.
The Rhino is set to come in three (colors): : White, Solid Jungle Green, and Solid Medium Gray. But what really sets this Limited Edition apart from the rest are the goodies that come with.

From the factory and straight out of the showroom, you can expect your Rhino to come with a new chrome front grille, a front bumper under garnish, side-under garnish pieces, mud flaps, Rhino Edition decal and badge. All aesthetics, as we mentioned, but Suzuki believes that the addition of these pieces “amplifies the iconic toughness and adventurous spirit of the Jimny nameplate”. Agree?
Under the hood, all the mechanicals remain the same. Providing power is the same 1.5-liter gasoline engine found in all other variants which is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. Its power output remains at 102 HP and it still gives a healthy pull of about 130 Nm. Decent and modest numbers, but not to be underestimated, as the fans well know.

We have mentioned that this is a Limited Edition, and Suzuki expects that they will sell out very, very fast. That said, interested customers are encouraged to visit their nearest Suzuki dealership to inquire and reserve their unit. WIth a price tag of PHP 1,331,000, this is a pretty good deal for a capable off-roader and a good-looking daily driver.
