The Bureau of Customs is auctioning off a pair of seized Bugatti Chirons for PHP 300 Million
One of the most newsworthy items this past 2024 was the seizing of not one, but two Bugatti Chiron hypercars locally. The Bureau of Customs was able to trace both vehicles that were illegally declared and brought into the country, this resulted in their seizure from the erring owners, and has been locked away since.

In an official post on the BOC Facebook page, the agency announced something quite intriguing:
While it may seem absurd to auction or bid on something already worth PHP 300 Million, it must be reiterated what exactly the Chiron is. This is a vehicle designed to be a private jet for the road, hitting speeds upwards of 400++ Km/h without so as much wind noise all while keeping the occupant calm, cool, and collected inside the palatial interior.
