Ferrari has officially unveiled the all-new Amalfi, a front-mid-engine V8 2+ coupé that replaces the Ferrari Roma. Designed for drivers seeking both performance and comfort, the Amalfi offers a blend of speed, daily usability, and refined design.

At the heart of the Amalfi is an updated 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 from the award-winning F154 engine family. It produces 631 hp at 7500 rpm, with a redline of 7600 rpm and a specific output of 166 cv/l. Turbo response and pressure precision are enhanced through the independent control of the two turbochargers, now spinning up to 171,000 rpm, aided by pressure sensors for each cylinder bank.

New lightweight camshafts and a redesigned engine block contribute to weight reduction. A low-viscosity oil improves cold start efficiency by reducing friction by 30%. The engine also benefits from a flat-plane crankshaft, twin-scroll turbocharging, and equal-length exhaust runners, resulting in smoother, high-revving performance.

Ferrari’s eight-speed dual-clutch transmission has been further optimized for faster, smoother shifts and better integration with the engine. Supporting systems such as a dry-sump gearbox and clutch torque management strategies enhance driveability in urban settings, particularly during heavy traffic situations.

Despite meeting stringent noise regulations, Ferrari preserved its signature engine sound. The Amalfi features a redesigned silencer layout and an exhaust system with a ceramic catalyst matrix and trimetallic coating. A new proportionally controlled bypass valve manages the sound profile across different driving conditions.

Styled by the Ferrari Styling Centre under the direction of Flavio Manzoni, the Amalfi evolves the 2+2 coupé layout with a modern, minimalist look. The body features clean surfacing, geometric forms, and a wedge-like profile. A body-coloured wing sits above a dark recessed band on the front fascia, integrating sensors and lighting. At the rear, narrow tail lights and a wide diffuser reinforce the sporty stance.

A key design highlight is the launch colour, Verde Costiera, a teal green inspired by the Amalfi Coast, which emphasizes the sculpted form of the car.

Inside, the Amalfi features a dual-cockpit layout, separating driver and passenger with a cohesive, symmetrical design. The dashboard integrates the instrument cluster and air vents into a single monolithic unit. A suspended aluminium tunnel houses the gear selector, wireless charger, and key slot. Materials include anodized aluminium and perforated speaker grilles.

The colour palette includes Verde Bellagio, used in the launch car to create a visually striking cabin. Optional comfort seats offer 10 air chambers for massaging and ventilation functions, and are available in three sizes.
The optional 14-speaker Burmester Premium Audio System delivers 1,200 watts of power, with three customizable listening modes.
The Amalfi features an upgraded Human-Machine Interface (HMI), with three main displays: a 15.6” digital instrument cluster, a 10.25” central touchscreen, and an 8.8” passenger-side display. These provide access to multimedia, climate, phone, and vehicle settings.

The new steering wheel features tactile buttons for enhanced usability. Controls are split between the two spokes and rotary knobs at the rear manage media functions.
Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and wireless charging are standard. The MyFerrari Connect app enables remote monitoring of your vehicle’s status.
Aerodynamic development focused on reducing drag and improving cooling. Fairings on the underbody, vortex generators, and splitters manage airflow and downforce. A new bypass duct over the headlights helps manage engine bay pressure.
The rear active spoiler automatically adjusts between Low Drag (LD), Medium Downforce (MD), and High Downforce (HD) configurations. In HD mode, it can generate an additional 110 kg of downforce at 250 km/h with minimal drag penalty. The system operates automatically and is hidden when not in use, preserving the car’s lines.
The Amalfi features brake-by-wire technology, which Ferrari says enhances pedal feel and improves braking precision. The latest version of ABS Evo, adapted from the 296 GTB, uses a 6D sensor for enhanced slip control. It also features Side Slip Control 6.1, which synchronizes dynamic systems, including steering, traction, and suspension.
A new grip estimation system based on Electric Power Steering (EPS) offers 10% faster and more accurate feedback, even at low traction levels. The rear spoiler also activates during high-speed braking or aggressive cornering to add stability.
The Amalfi rides on 20” wheels, with 245/35 R20 front and 285/35 R20 rear tyres. The tyres were co-developed with Bridgestone (Potenza Sport) and Pirelli (P ZERO) to deliver performance without sacrificing ride comfort. The sidewall aspect ratio is the same as the Roma’s. That being said, customers can spec the Amalfi with the brands as mentioned above.1
The Amalfi also has a full suite of ADAS features and its systems are integrated into the car’s digital interface and managed through front and rear cameras, as well as radar.
Ferrari includes a 7-year Genuine Maintenance program, covering all scheduled maintenance with no mileage limit. This service includes original parts and is performed by factory-trained technicians using Ferrari diagnostic tools, which are available globally through official dealerships.
