The Kia Carnival Turbo HEV is finally in the Philippines

ACMobility, the official distributor of Kia in the Philippines, has introduced the Kia Carnival Turbo HEV, the first hybrid variant of the brand’s popular MPV. This move marks a significant milestone for Kia’s electrification efforts, delivering improved performance and efficiency to Filipino families.

Equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline hybrid engine, the Carnival Turbo HEV offers a combined 241 hp and 367 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful in its class. A six-speed automatic transmission ensures smooth power delivery, complemented by ventilated rear disc brakes for enhanced safety and control.

Retaining the bold styling of the lineup, the Turbo HEV features distinctive updates such as 4-cube LED headlights, model-exclusive matte-finished 19-inch wheels, and active aero flaps to improve aerodynamics. Inside, the MPV boasts a spacious and luxurious cabin enhanced by a new Navy Blue and Misty Grey color scheme. Advanced features include a 12.3-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a heads-up display, and acoustic paneling for a quieter ride.

Kia has also equipped the Carnival Turbo HEV with its DriveWise suite of safety technologies. This includes Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Smart Cruise Control, and a 360-degree Surround View Monitor. Additional features such as an 8-airbag system, electronic stability control, and ISOFIX child seat anchors ensure passenger safety at every turn.

Scheduled to hit Kia dealerships nationwide on December 1, 2024, the Carnival Turbo HEV is priced at P3,488,000. Customers can choose from colors like Aurora Black Pearl, Ceramic Silver, and the exclusive Ivory Silver. Each purchase comes with a comprehensive warranty package (5 years or 160,000 km for the vehicle, a 5-year warranty for the electric motor, and an 8-year warranty for the battery) and 24/7 roadside assistance for added peace of mind.
