“We are writing the next chapter in our Avant history: The new Audi A6 unites an elegant, dynamic design with exceptional aerodynamics. Efficient yet high‑performance drive systems and cutting-edge suspension technology combine sportiness with a high comfort level, making traveling in the A6 a first-class experience.” With this model, the company is also continuing its major product initiative that began in 2024. The modernization and rejuvenation of the product portfolio is part of the Audi Agenda, with which Audi is positioning itself for the future in the face of intensified competition. “With the A6, we are now renewing an important model series,” -Gernot Döllner, Audi CEO

The new A6 Avant features a refined design language, merging functionality with a timeless aesthetic. With a drag coefficient of 0.25, it is Audi’s most aerodynamic combustion engine Avant. Elements such as large air curtains, controllable cool-air intakes, a pronounced roof spoiler, and aerodynamic panels contribute to its efficiency.

The model’s rear design maintains traditional Avant characteristics, with a sporty diffuser and pronounced shoulder lines enhancing its dynamic look. A long wheelbase and extended hood add to the vehicle’s balanced proportions.

The A6 Avant incorporates Audi’s MHEV plus mild hybrid technology, available in two engine options: a 2.0-liter TDI four-cylinder producing 201 hp and a 3.0-liter TFSI six-cylinder generating 362 hp. The system integrates a 48-volt battery, belt alternator starter (BAS), and powertrain generator (PTG) with power electronics, enabling electric-assisted driving and energy recuperation. The PTG allows the car to maneuver at low speeds on electric power alone and provides an additional torque boost when needed.

The A6 Avant offers an optimized balance between sportiness and comfort. The standard progressive steering has been refined for improved responsiveness, with stiffer components enhancing road feedback. Optional all-wheel steering further enhances agility by adjusting the rear wheels based on speed, reducing the turning circle at low speeds and improving stability at higher speeds. Adaptive air suspension and the quattro sport differential are available for added precision and control.

The driver-focused cockpit includes panoramic and passenger displays, while customizable lighting options and OLED rear lights enhance aesthetics and safety. A panoramic glass roof increases the sense of openness, while an optional Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system provides an immersive audio experience.
