Toyota PH will still offer the Diesel powered Innova despite 2023 Zenix launch
A couple of months ago we wrote about how the impending launch of the Toyota Zenix would affect the Innova diesel landscape. At the time we speculated that the brand could cut the diesel line-up loose and go all-in on hybrid. In reality, the brand has chosen to take another direction.
Toyota PH to keep selling Diesel Innova alongside Zenix
The Innova has been a staple for the brand and its diesel engine has been its calling card for expanding Filipino families looking for space, reliability, and dependability.
We have it on good authority that the brand has decided to keep selling the Diesel Innova as a separate model right next to the recently launched gasoline and hybrid Zenix. Yes, you heard that right the diesel is still here to stay so fans of the ‘oil burner’ motor can rejoice. Based on the TMP website the page for the current generation Innova still lists all of the variants from the J up to the V.
