The carpooling service Wunder has just announced that it is ceasing its operations in Manila.

Through an announcement sent to users and the company’s official channels, Wunder has cited focusing on other mobility niches as its reason for stopping operations. The platform also noted that while the service has stopped, the company itself is pursuing new endeavors. They also stated that the platform has no plans of coming back to Manila after their operations cease.

The Wunder mobile app will continue working until June 28. Users are advised to withdraw all their cashable balance in their Wunder Wallet until June 28 as well. The carpooling platform and the company’s support channel will be available until July 12.
