Christmas might have come a little bit early as far as fuel prices go. Tomorrow, December 12, a substantial rollback will be given to both gasoline and diesel prices which will see the former go down by PHP 1.60 per liter, and the latter by PHP 1.85 per liter. Finally, some good news for users of both types of fuel, and what a good time to come, at that.
Fuel prices for both gas and diesel go down at the same time tomorrow, December 12, 2023
If it wasn’t a price hike for both, one would get an increase while the other went down; that has been the trend of fuel prices as of late. Tomorrow brings good news for both gasoline and diesel users because a price reduction will be implemented tomorrow, albeit at different times and depending on the station and brand. Nonetheless, gasoline will be cheaper by PHP 1.60 per liter and diesel by a little more at PHP 1.85 less per liter.
Cleanfuel and Caltex will be the earliest to update the prices of their pumps; this will happen as the clock strikes midnight. As for the other major players that include the likes of Shell, Petron, Unioil, and Seaoil, they will be updating a little bit later in the morning at 6:00 AM, as is their normal practice when rollbacks are set for the week.
Traffic has gotten worse in the past weeks and will only worsen in the coming weeks. A fuel price rollback is something that motorists do need, and as we mentioned, the one set for tomorrow couldn’t have come at a better time for those using motor vehicles. That said, we’ve also come up with a list of fuel-saving tips right here. Hey, nothing wrong with trying to get the most out of our fill-ups, right?
We hope that the prices of fuel products continue to go down and that we will be treated to another rollback next week. For now, let’s just enjoy this bit of good news as we start the week, yes?
