According to a post on the official Facebook page of the DOTr, the construction of the Common Station is nearly complete.
While no specific date of completion was announced by the DOTr, the agency did provide some photos to showcase the progress of the ongoing construction. This comes as welcome news, as the original plan of completion was supposed to be sometime last December 2021. Although, no reasons were cited as to what may have caused the delay.
The Common Station is located on North Avenue, and will serve as the interconnecting hub for the LRT-1, MRT-3, and the Metro Manila Subway system. After completion, the Common Station is expected to cater to 500,000 passengers daily.
