The Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) has announced that the Land Transportation Office (LTO) has activated 25 sites for the issuance of driver’s license, student’s permit, and conductor’s license.
The activation started yesterday, August 24, Monday. The 25 sites are located in Metro Manila and Regions 3, 4-A, and 8. See table below.
“We will print licenses during Saturdays and after office hours on weekdays, in order to erase the current backlog of around 900,000 licenses by the beginning of October this year,” said LTO chief Assistant Secretary Alfonso Tan, Jr.
The license cards feature the new, color-coded design: orange for student drivers, yellow for conductors, and blue for professional and non-professional drivers.
For your info, nagparenew lang ako sa lto laspinas dahil sinarado na sa atc, from 9am to 7pm ako naghintay sa card, di rin naibigay, di na raw maayos yung printer, receipt lang ang binigay nila. Iisa lang ang printer at wala man lang backup.
