Toyota PH increases price for Hilux, and slims down Corolla Altis lineup for 2023

It seems the majority of car companies are either streamlining or improving their model lineups for 2023. Recently, Toyota increased the price of the Corolla Cross, but it seems they aren’t done yet.

Hilux price bump and features

Beginning this January 2023,  The Hilux (except for the cab and chassis and Hilux E) will be getting a corresponding PHP 18,000 increase in price.

The reason? according to the brand, it’s because of the installation of the Local Data Communication Module or LDCM. The LCDM allows the Hilux to get access to the myToyota Connect System. With myToyota Connect, owners can access information including vehicle status, and driving information such as daily trip summaries. It can also be used to track the vehicle and offer reminders for PMS.

Here is the new pricing for the Toyota Hilux lineup:

  • Hilux 2.4 E MT – PHP 1,174,000
  • Hilux 2.4 G MT – PHP 1,303,000
  • Hilux 2.4 G AT – PHP 1,379,000
  • Hilux 2.4 Conquest 4×2 MT – PHP 1,486,000
  • Hilux 2.4 Conquest 4×2 AT – PHP 1,562,000
  • Hilux 2.8 Conquest 4×4 MT – PHP 1,862,000
  • Hilux 2.8 Conquest 4×4 AT – PHP 1,937,000
  • Hilux GR-S 4×4 AT – PHP 2,057,000

Toyota Corolla Altis Gr S

The Corolla Altis lineup gets trimmed down

Also, upon looking at the official Toyota Website, it seems that the Corolla Altis lineup has lost one variant. Particularly the 1.8 HEV variant, which was the previous top-of-the-line version of the Corolla Altis. This means those who want a hybrid Altis must opt for the new top-of-the-line variant Corolla Altis GR-S HEV which is priced at PHP 1,665,000.
