Diesel to go up by PHP 4.20-4.40 and Gasoline by PHP 1.40-1.60 on June 14, 2022

It seems another big fuel price increase is set to take place sometime next week. According to industry sources, as reported by news outlets, the fuel price increases are set for June 14, 2022.
Here are the corresponding increases for Diesel, Gasoline, and Kerosene:
Diesel: PHP 4.20-4.40
Gasoline: PHP 1.40-1.60
Kerosene: PHP 4.70-4.90
What makes this fuel price increase significant is the fact that just this week the Department Of Energy (DOE) said that fuel prices were unlikely to hit a price of PHP 100 per liter. With the current trend though, it might just happen, the incoming price hike will bring fuel closer (or over) the PHP 80 per liter price.
