One of the most loved nameplates in the Philippines has to be the Ford Ranger. An all-new model launched a few months ago, leaving fans waiting with bated breath as to when it will eventually make its way here.
It seems though, that we might not have to wait much longer. A post on the Ford Everest Club Philippines Facebook group shows two vehicle transport trucks carrying what is undoubtedly the Ford Ranger on its bed.
Another detail made evident in the photo, is that the model/variant being transported is the Wildtrak variant. While there is no way to specify where exactly the photo was taken, we can guess it was likely taken somewhere in Batangas where most manufacturer stockyards are located.
One final bit of information gives credence to an impending launch, during the recently concluded Henry Ford Awards (HFA), Ford Group Philippines Managing Director Mike Breen did say that the all-new Ranger will make its debut locally during the third quarter of 2022.
FORD RANGER WILDTRAK 4×4 DETAILS
The only information on vehicle specifications at this time is that the all-new Ranger Wildtrak 4×4 comes with, LED headlights, Boulder Grey 18-inch alloy wheels, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12-inch touchscreen SYNC4 infotainment system, and Ebony Black leather interior with Cyber Orange stitching.
No other specifications have been confirmed at this time, but with vehicles already on shore, we’ll know everything about the all-new Ford Ranger soon enough.
