Finally, after all the talks, the commuting public can now be assured of a proper common station for the existing and future metro train systems.
An agreement is set to be signed on September 28 for the formal Memorandum of Understanding between involved parties. According to the Department of Transportation, the common station is set to be built between SM North EDSA and TriNoma.
The common station will connect the MRT-3, LRT-1, and the under-construction MRT-7. Also, the Department of Public Works and Highways said that an underpass is also in plans to integrate the common station.
