Nissan Philippines has finally launched the all-new Kicks e-POWER

Nissan Philippines has finally launched the All-New Nissan Kicks e-POWER, the newest generation of its electrified subcompact SUV, positioned under the brand’s “Live Daring” campaign. The Kicks e-POWER was initially previewed to the public earlier at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show.

First introduced in the Philippine market in 2022, the Kicks brought Nissan’s e-POWER technology to the subcompact crossover segment. Four years later, the new model builds on that foundation with updated features and design changes to improve the overall driving experience while maintaining the responsive performance associated with the nameplate.

Nissan’s e-POWER system powers the Kicks with 136 PS and 280 Nm of torque, functioning entirely through an electric motor. A 1.2-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine generates electricity to charge the battery, while the electric motor alone drives the wheels. This setup delivers electric-motor-driven performance without requiring drivers to adopt EV-charging habits.

Inside, the Kicks gets Nissan’s Zero Gravity seats along with anti-heat leather upholstery meant to reduce heat buildup. Rear passengers get an optimized seatback angle and a rear armrest, while the driver’s seat is 6-way power-adjustable. The cabin includes a 12.3-inch Display Audio system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus NissanConnect Services with a three-year subscription.

Nissan updated the Kicks’ front end with its signature V-Motion grille, a new lighting signature, and triple-arrow Daytime Running Lights. At the rear, the vehicle features Nissan’s hexagon-shaped taillights. Headlights were also improved to provide wider, longer illumination in low-light conditions.

Nissan ProPILOT anchors the Kicks e-POWER’s driver-assistance suite, assisting with steering, acceleration, and braking through Intelligent Lane Keep Assist and Intelligent Cruise Control. The system also includes Traffic Jam Assist, which can bring the vehicle to a stop and resume driving in traffic conditions.

Twelve additional safety and driver-assistance features come with the Kicks e-POWER: Leading Car Departure Notification, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning with Blind Spot Intervention, Lane Departure Warning with Lane Departure Prevention, Rear Automatic Emergency Braking, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, High Beam Assist, and Driver Attention Alert.

With this launch, Nissan Philippines’ electrified lineup now includes the Kicks e-POWER alongside the X-Trail e-POWER.

Nissan Philippines is offering launch promo pricing on the Kicks e-POWER’s three variants until September 30, 2026:

VE: ₱1,499,000
VL: ₱1,649,000
LE Plus: ₱1,749,000

Buyers can choose from four colors: Aquamarine Metallic, Gun Metallic, Pearl White, and Moon Pearl Gray. The LE Plus variant is also available with a Black Roof option. Interior finishes vary by variant, with the LE Plus getting a new Moonstone interior combination and the VE and VL retaining a black interior.

Launch offers also include a complimentary one-year Nissan Protect+ package covering prepaid maintenance with genuine Nissan oil and parts, along with servicing during the first year of ownership.

Nissan also displayed the Kicks by Quiccs at the launch, a version of the SUV featuring artwork by Filipino artist Quiccs, continuing an existing partnership between the artist and the brand.

The Nissan Intelligent Mobility Tour runs from August 28 to 30 at the Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Center, where other Nissan models are available for test drives. Reservations for the Kicks e-POWER are open at Nissan dealerships nationwide and online.
