Positioned as Geely’s executive performance flagship, the Monjaro EM-i is a plug-in hybrid D-segment SUV and marks the latest addition to the brand’s New Energy Vehicle lineup in the Philippines.

Power comes from Geely’s EM-i Super Hybrid system, paired with the brand’s e-AWD Intelligent Electric All-Wheel Drive System. According to Geely, this marks the introduction of the AWD system to the brand’s overseas model lineup, aimed at improving traction and stability across varying road conditions.
The Monjaro EM-i is built on Geely’s GEA Evo architecture, a new-energy-native platform paired with the company’s GEEA 3.0 electronic and electrical architecture. Inside, the SUV runs Geely’s Flyme Auto infotainment system and is the brand’s first overseas model equipped with the Xingrui Intelligent Large Language Model for in-car voice interaction.

Geely equipped the Monjaro EM-i with its Shendun Battery Safety System alongside standard active and passive safety features, intended to protect both occupants and the vehicle’s electrified powertrain.
Geely designed the SUV’s cabin around D-segment proportions, targeting buyers who use the vehicle for both business and family use. The company markets the SUV under the tagline “Peak Within. Drive Beyond,” a reference to Mount Kilimanjaro, from which the Monjaro name is derived.
Geely has not yet released pricing, full specifications, or variant details for the Philippine market. The company said more information will follow closer to the official launch date.
