Nissan Philippines officially launched the All-New Nissan X-Trail e-POWER at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), held at the World Trade Center Metro Manila from June 4 to 7, 2026. However, the launch was also accompanied by two ASEAN premieres and a preview of an upcoming model, underscoring the brand’s push toward electrification in the local market.
The brand’s exhibit is organized around its stated long-term direction, “Mobility Intelligence for Everyday Life,” featuring a lineup of electrified and hybrid vehicles intended for Filipino drivers.
The All-New Nissan Kicks e-POWER made its ASEAN debut at the show, featuring a boxier exterior and updated interior compared to the current model. It retains the e-POWER drivetrain while introducing design and technology upgrades.
The All-New Nissan Primera EV also had its ASEAN premiere at PIMS, reviving a familiar nameplate as a fully electric vehicle. The model features a streamlined exterior, a premium cabin, and enhanced connectivity.
Rounding out the showcase is the All-New Nissan Navara Pro Plug-in Hybrid, previewed as a plug-in hybrid pickup combining 4×4 capability with an electrified powertrain. Nissan positioned it as the brand’s entry point for electrification in the pickup segment.
In terms of any other details, Nissan Philippines kept quiet since the models previewed are still not yet in their final specifications, but we will know for sure once these models officially launch in the country.
Nissan Philippines also displayed its existing lineup — including the Navara, Terra, and Livina — at an outdoor booth alongside the new models.
