PIMS 2026: MG launches HS PHEV, RX9 PHEV, and MG4 EV Urban

MG Motor Philippines used the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) 2026 to officially unveil three new electrified vehicles under its “The Next Wave Continues” theme, expanding the brand’s New Energy Vehicle lineup in the country.

The motor show runs from June 4 to 7, 2026, with the MG Pavilion open to the public, along with test-drive opportunities, interactive zones, and event-only promotions.

MG HS PHEV – SRP Php 1,548,888


The HS PHEV is a plug-in hybrid that has won best PHEV in the UK for two consecutive years. It runs on a 21.6-kWh battery paired with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, producing 272 PS. Pure electric range reaches 100 km, with a combined range of over 1,000 km. Standard features include dual 12.3-inch displays, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and the full MG Pilot suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

MG RX9 PHEV – SRP Php 1,998,888


The RX9 PHEV is MG’s new flagship seven-seater plug-in hybrid SUV. It pairs a 1.5L turbocharged hybrid engine with an electric motor and a 24.7-kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery, delivering 299 PS and a pure electric range of 115 km. Total range exceeds 1,100 km. The RX9 PHEV comes equipped with dual 12.3-inch displays, a Bose 12-speaker audio system, ventilated and massaging front seats, 12-way power seat adjustment with memory function, and tri-zone climate control.

MG4 EV Urban – SRP Php 1,198,888


The MG4 EV Urban is a compact all-electric vehicle aimed at city drivers. Its 110 kW motor and 43.2-kWh battery deliver a range of up to 403 km (NEDC), with fast charging from 20% to 80% in 35 minutes. The car measures 4,395 mm long with a 2,750 mm wheelbase, offering 480 liters of cargo space — expandable to 1,364 liters with the rear seats folded — plus a 98-liter underfloor compartment. It also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability and features a 12.8-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Customers who reserve and purchase the HS PHEV or RX9 PHEV in June receive a Php 30,000 cash token, a free 7kW wall charger worth Php 30,000, and a Php 10,000 retention incentive while awaiting delivery — totaling up to Php 70,000 in benefits. This brings the effective price down to Php 1,518,888 for the HS PHEV and Php 1,968,888 for the RX9 PHEV.
The first 100 buyers of the MG4 EV Urban get a Php 50,000 discount off the SRP, bringing the price to Php 1,148,888, plus a free 7kW wall charger worth Php 30,000 — totaling Php 80,000 in benefits.

Reservations for all three models are open starting at Php 1,000.
