Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has launched the All-New Outlander PHEV, the brand’s first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle in the Philippine market and its new SUV flagship.

MMPC positions the Outlander PHEV as Japan’s best-selling PHEV in the SUV segment, built around the company’s Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) system paired with plug-in hybrid technology.
A 2.4-liter MIVEC gasoline engine works alongside front and rear electric motors, switching between electric and gasoline power depending on driving conditions. Combined system output is rated at 306 PS and 450 Nm of torque. MMPC states the vehicle offers a combined driving range of nearly 1,000 kilometers, with 100 kilometers of pure electric range.
Drivers can select among four EV modes — Normal, Save, Charge, and EV Priority — to manage how the vehicle draws on its electric and gasoline power sources. The Outlander PHEV supports AC Type 2 charging, compatible with existing EV charging infrastructure in the Philippines. When charging is unavailable, the vehicle continues to operate as a hybrid.
The S-AWC system integrates Twin-Motor 4WD, Active Yaw Control (AYC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Active Stability Control (ASC), and Traction Control System (TCS) to manage traction and stability.
Seven drive modes are available: Normal, Eco, and Power for everyday driving, and Tarmac, Gravel, Snow, and Mud for varying road surfaces and off-road conditions.
The Outlander PHEV comes equipped with the Mitsubishi Motors Safety Sensing (MMSS) suite, which includes Forward Collision Mitigation, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Automatic High Beam, and Driver Attention Alert.
The SUV carries Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Shield front fascia design, full-LED lighting, and 20-inch machine-finished and black two-tone alloy wheels. MMPC says steel components used on prominent body sections improve noise and vibration characteristics, reducing wind and road noise.
Inside, the cabin features light gray leather-trimmed seats, soft-touch materials, and a panoramic sunroof. Technology includes a 12.3-inch Smartphone-Link Display Audio (SDA) system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-speaker Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium audio system, a Smart Rear View Mirror, and a Heads-up Display. Comfort features include triple-zone automatic climate control and 8-way power-adjustable front seats with lumbar support, memory settings, heating, and ventilation.
The All-New Outlander PHEV carries an SRP of PHP 2,848,000. MMPC is offering introductory pricing of PHP 2,749,000 for reservations and vehicle releases made from August 20 to September 30, 2026.
Three exterior colors are available: White Diamond, Black Diamond, and Red Diamond.
