The G50 PHEV is positioned as an upgraded version of the brand’s people carrier, now equipped with a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder plug-in hybrid system and a dedicated hybrid transmission. The setup produces 299 PS and 280 Nm of torque, combining an electric motor with a gasoline engine for improved responsiveness, efficiency, and quieter driving.

The vehicle can travel up to 95 kilometers on pure electric power. With a 60-liter fuel tank, it has a factory-rated total range of up to 1,415 kilometers.
Inside, the MPV features a three-row layout with captain seats and a three-seat third row. A panoramic sunroof is standard. The dashboard uses dual 12.3-inch displays for the instrument cluster and infotainment system, with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Exterior features include automatic projector LED headlights and updated styling aligned with MG’s current global design.

MG said the G50 PHEV is designed to offer flexibility for both daily commutes and long-distance travel, giving buyers an option to shift to electrified driving without losing range.
The model is part of MG’s broader lineup in the Philippines, which now includes diesel, gasoline, hybrid, battery electric, and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
The G50 PHEV is priced at Php 1,398,888 and will be available in Pearl White, Andes Gray, and Pearl Black.
