To celebrate their mutual dedication to quality, craftmanship, and consistency, Mazda Philippines and The MICHELIN Guide partnered for the 2027 Manila and Environs & Cebu Restaurant Ceremony held on October 29, 2026 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom at Newport World Resorts.

Mazda PH president Steven Tan took to the stage to present the prestigious MICHELIN Service Award to Clyde Joshua Zafra of Tito Boy—one of the newly awarded MICHELIN Bib Gourmand restaurants from Pampanga.

As The MICHELIN Guide’s official automotive partner, Mazda also previewed the CX-80 Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) for the Philippines. Dressed in Mazda’s stunning Melting Copper Metallic paint, the CX-80 PHEV is Mazda’s first plug-in hybrid offering in the Philippines. Essentially a longer 7-seater version of the CX-60, it’s powered by a 192-horsepower naturally-aspirated 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G engine paired with a 175-horsepower electric motor. The total output of 323-horsepower and 500Nm of torque makes this Mazda PH’s most powerful model in the lineup. Pricing starts at P4.18 million.

It was a night of gastronomic delight featuring delicious bites by chefs Aaron Isip (Kása Palma), Chele González (Gallery by Chele), Himanshu Saini (Trèsind Studio Dubai), Jason Atherton (Row on 45 Dubai), Joonhyuk Chi (ONVIT), and Josh Boutwood (Helm)

For 2027, The MICHELIN Guide announced a total of 127 establishments, including 10 MICHELIN-Starred, 31 MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, 86 MICHELIN-Selected restaurants, and 4 Special Awards.
